A nice, cozy and very private 2 room space for max. 4 persons in a typical Amsterdam B&B in super central location. Very quiet and relaxing. Fully furnished and completely renovated. Davids Bed & Breakfast is a great space in very central Amsterdam. During your stay with the whole city will be at your door step (see map). Max. 5 minutes. walk from the main Amsterdam attractions. Located in the pedestrianized area of Amsterdam centre, between the main shopping streets Kalverstraat and Leidsestraat. Also plenty of restaurants, bars, coffeshops and clubs are just down the stairs or around the corner.
It's a cannabis friendly B&B!! Your space is at the back of my apartment but completely separated. You have you own entrance on the 2nd floor, where you enter the upper room. There you'll find 2 single beds (or 1 double), HD ready Flat TV, BLUERAY/DVD/CD player with bluetooth connection and Radio, FREE & FAST WiFi connection, a long desk with chairs and a small sofa. In the lower floor (reachable via internal stairs) you will find a small countertop without cooking facilities (like a stove) but with a Senseo coffee machine, kettle, toaster and eggs cooker to prepare your breakfasts. On and under the countertop there are a small fridge and the dishwasher. In this space downstairs are also the other 2 single beds (or 1 double), and your own shower / toilet.
Your 2 rooms are located on the back of the house and very quiet considering this great location in the very centre of Amsterdam. The house construction (you in the back and me in the front of it), guarantees more than enough privacy for all of us but please, mind that between the 2 rooms/floors where you stay, there is no real separation (like a door or wall) and privacy within your group could be poor.
On the other end, all the place will not be rented to anyone else but you (and your friends or family) during your stay. So there will be no sharing with strangers or my family!
We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. Cable tv and blueray player are available the upper room. We provide high-speed Wi-Fi internet access.
Enjoy a small breakfast with some cereals, and a variety of hot drinks. The place is great for guests to relax with a book or a movie, tea and coffee, and a variety of snacks.
Fresh and clean towels and linen are included in the price.
There will be thee, coffee, milk, sugar, honey, cereals, crackers, snacks, sweets, and more at your disposal to have your breakfast and snacks in complete freedom and whenever you like, without having tight schedules.
Whether this is your first visit, or you have been a guest many times, we want your experience to be excellent. We are always available to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
Hi I'm Davide and I'll be pleased to welcome you in my B&B. I will do the check in with you at arrival and explain a bit about the B&B and its rules. If needed I'll give you some intresting informations about the city too. Although I live in the same apartment (in the front part of it), you and your group will have more than enough privacy during your stay as you have your own entrance door to your space and between us there is a wall that guarantee that. Furthermore I work the all day so we'll not see each other too much if not needed but as I often work from home, I will be available at any time for any questions
From Schiphol airport u can take a taxi or the train (cheaper and often quicker) to central station. The train station is just underneath the airport terminal.
From Central Station you can take trams 2 and 12 to the stop "Koningsplein-flowermarket" (3 stops) or tram 4, 14 and 24, to stop "Rokin" (2 stops) or metro 52 direction Station Zuid to stop "Rokin" (1 stop).
Walking straight down the Damrak, Dam and Rokin (or the shopping street "Kalverstraat") up to het Spui is a also good option. If you travel light weight it's a nice 15 to 20 minutes walk of 1,6 km to the apartment.
The Flower Market/Spui area is located in the downtown shopping area and is very lively, both day and night.
Distances: Central station is 1.5 km -- Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and Stedelijk Museum 1.2 Km -- Amsterdam Museum 250 mt -- Begijnhof 100 mt
Dam 600 mt -- Nieuwmarkt 1 km -- Leidseplein 650 mt -- Rembrandt 450 mt
Public transport: tram 2, 4, 14, 24 and Metro 52 50/100 mt -- supermarket 150 mt
Cafes, restaurants, clubs, the main shopping street Kalverstraat 50 mt Museums and major monuments, interesting tourist attractions, etc. Are from 1 to max 20 minutes walking distance (No public transport is really needed).

the appartment was very clean, had everything that we needed and the location is absolutely fantastic.
the host davide was very kind and helpful, he even had some food for breakfast in the fridge and some sweets for the munchies ;) can defently recommend!

Great location for this apartment surrounded by Great bars and restaurants. It's a smoking apartment so it is basic. It was quiet considering it's surrounded by bars.the owner was very friendly and helpful he also lives next to the apartment so it feels very safe.Would stay there again.

My boyfriend and I stayed at David's B&B for 4 nights in January. We visit Amsterdam regularly and try out different places everytime we go. This was a special occasion as it was a Christmas present bought for my boyfriend.
David's B&B was everything we could of hoped for. Dainty, well prepared room that is perfect for any couple of any age. We couldn't of been more happy with what we had. The room was toasty warm at all times, the shower was always hot and the service provided by David himself was impeccable. We stayed in contact from the moment I book the accomdation - to when we left. Any problems you have, David is on hand to help.
I would recommend this accomdation to anyone. I'm only 22 myself and have just sold this place to my parents. It is perfect for anyone! And location is key!

From day one, David was very friendly. He gave us some advice on where to go and it was pretty much spot on.
The apartment itself was very comfortable. David provided some food for breakfast, towels, blankets, chessboard, cards, iron, TV ...etc literally everything you would need. We were 3 people and the apartment fit us OK as long as we remembered to air it in the morning.
The street where the apartment is located is filled with cool bars that are definitely worth a visit (Great way to meet locals). The apartment is a maximum of 20 minutes walk from everywhere you want to be, so you won't need to waste money on the tram or the buses.
On the street behind the apartment there is a great coffeeshop (Often crowded though). There is also a Club (or Disco as the locals call it) called Dolly's, which used to be one of the best in Amsterdam according to several locals.
